E C Employees Race for the Cure

E C employees and their families came out in force to run, walk and jog in the 2011 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Portland on September 18th.

On a misty Sunday morning in September, 43 E C Company employees and family members came together to participate in the the 20th running of the Race for the Cure in Portland. 

One of our largest groups ever, men and women from E C Company, E C Power Systems and Electrical Construction Company turned out to raise money to fight breast cancer. Final numbers are pending, but as of race day, 35,000 racers were registered - and many more contributed to "Sleep in for the Cure" - an alternative to lacing up your racing shoes.
